On the Record-Women Change-Makers in Irish Screen

Awarded seed funding from the IADT Research Office for a project entitled 'On the Record-Women Change-Makers in Irish Screen'. The project is an oral history project collecting interviews with key women writers, directors and producers in the Irish Screen Industry from the 1960s to the present. The project records the stories and history of women in Irish film, as creatives in the film industry, but also as agitators and campaigners for film culture in Ireland. This project is building a resource for future scholars and researchers, including interviews, publications, links to audio-visual material, pamphlets, ephemera and other relevant material for researchers in the field of Women in Irish Film. Initial seed funding is for scoping the project.
