Description
ReSound is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Programme that focuses on the role of sound in culture, society, and the creative industries. This two-year programme, divided into four semesters, emphasises sound as a distinct discipline, exploring its relationship with image, space, and experience. It is designed to equip graduates with expertise in sound design, production, composition, and execution across media arts, including film, television, gaming, immersive media, and virtual environments. The programme offers career opportunities in various sectors such as cinema, immersive media, video games, and live events.
ReSound brings together three leading institutions within the FilmEU European University alliance: the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) in Ireland, and Universidade Lusófona (UL) in Portugal and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA). Through Erasmus+ mobility, students experience a European education, studying across Northern, Western, and Southern Europe while gaining access to an extensive network of trans-European partners. This diversity broadens perspectives, fosters cross-cultural collaboration, and opens doors to international opportunities. A full list of participating staff at IADT and in collaborating partner institutions is available at: https://resound-ma.eu/people/
Amount: 3,648,000 EUR
